Southern Uni Games 2009
This year the SUG's will be held in Melbourne 6th July - 8th July.
Trial's will be soon.
Everyone is encouraged to try out no matter your ability. The more people we have the more teams and fun will be had.
We try to create an experienced team and then a social/beginners team to attend the games.
Australian University Games 2007
Australian University Games were held at Gold Coast this year from the 23rd
to 29th September. Deakin took a mixed touch team that came 11th overall - not bad for a Victorian side!
Notable points of the Games:
- RMIT for their stellar effort with half time dance-offs
(and the party bus!)
- Bri and Birdy's bin on the field - too bad they were
sent off
- Tim making everyone sick (thanks Tim!)
- Coxy's narcolepsy - passing out in 5 places on one
night.
- The Lemon Squeezy for all those sour moments.
- Tom's nudie run, and his other off-field efforts.

Latrobe City Challenge 2007
This year the Southern University Games were replaced by the Latrobe City Challenge. Deakin entered two mixed teams
- Team Superstars who won gold, and Team Sexy Beast, who came fourth. Apart from the rain and the cold, a great time
was had by all.
Australian University Games 2006- Adelaide
Deakin Touch came 8th in the mixed competition at Australian Uni Games this year... The games were tough, with NSW and
QLD teams mainly dominating the competiton... Congratulations however goes out to Loz for her superb efforts in being selected
for the Green and Gold team...
On the social aspect, Adelaide has some awesome nightlife... Some of the themes during the week was PJ party, Traffic Light
and anything starting with the letters A, U or G. The girls go right in to the themes, dressing up every night! Go Team Purple
Lettuce!
Congratulations goes out to everyone involved including TCT and TST, hopefully it was enjoyed by all! Looking forward to
the Gold Coast next year...
